The Itinerary
The reef sits just off the island and the boat leaves from a marina five minutes from the resort. An easy morning in the water for anyone arriving the night before, with all the gear included.
The first evening starts on the sand with a drink, before anyone has properly unpacked. An easy hour to put names to faces.
Melissa gathers everyone around the fire once it's dark, and each person shares what brought her here. You'll be given a journal to write in and to take home with you.
Dinner as a group on the first night, at one long table. The menu leans toward the kind of food that makes the next morning easier.
Melissa leads a flow on the lawn above the beach, facing the water as the sun comes up. It's a gentle practice suited to any level, and mats and blankets are set out beforehand.
Breakfast together at the resort. Smoothie bowls, fresh fruit and an açaí station, served whenever you make it down.
A licensed esthetician walks the group through lymphatic drainage and gua sha, working on your own face as she goes. You keep the tools, and the routine is simple enough to carry on at home.
A practitioner plays crystal bowls while the group lies out in the garden. There's nothing to do but stay still and listen.
A light lunch by the pool, served whenever the group drifts back.
Magazines, boards and a long table in the afternoon. Everyone builds something for the year ahead, then shares one piece of it with the group.
An open block with nothing scheduled. The spa has sixteen treatment rooms and takes individual bookings, and there are courts for tennis, padel and pickleball if you'd rather move.
Dinner at the resort's Aegean restaurant, on the water and a short walk from your room. No cars and no causeway.
Coffee is set out on the beach early for anyone who wants a quiet start with their journal. Nothing is scheduled and nobody minds if you sleep instead.
Breakfast together before a long day.
A morning making something to bring home: bracelets, painted shells, or a frame for a photo of your kids. Materials are laid out and no skill is required.
Boards and an instructor on the bay side of the island, where the water stays flat. It's built for beginners, and staying on the beach is an equally good way to spend the morning.
Lunch back at the resort after the morning on the water.
Melissa leads a conversation by the water, where each person names something she's ready to set down and something she's proud of as a mother. It's the quietest hour of the trip.
A break to shower and change before the group leaves for the marina. Worth bringing a layer for the boat.
A private boat takes the group out onto Biscayne Bay for the last evening, with drinks on board and the Miami skyline turning gold across the water.
Dinner in the Design District at a Greek restaurant built around a garden courtyard. It's the last night, so the table is yours for as long as you want it.
The group meets at the shoreline for breathwork with Melissa, then walks into the water together to leave behind whatever each person came to set down. It closes the circle from the first night.
