Moldova is open to tourists and leisure travel is functioning normally in Chișinău and other main destinations. The main complications are spillover security risks from the war in Ukraine, occasional drone/airspace disruptions, and stronger warnings for Transnistria. Tourism activity is still growing, not collapsing, but travelers should stay alert, carry cash, and avoid demonstrations and the separatist region.
