Nepal is open to leisure tourism and international visitors are still arriving in meaningful numbers. The main present risk is a localized disaster zone in Rasuwa near the China border, while most of the country is being treated as a cautionary rather than closed destination. Travel is possible, but plans should account for disruptions, weather-related hazards, and patchy payment/card infrastructure.
